Dear Teenager, in a world where societal pressures often distort the truth, it’s essential to understand the significance of sexual purity. Your sexual purity is a crucial key to unlocking your God-given destiny!
What comes to mind when you hear “Sexual Purity”? Is it just abstinence from sexual sin, or is there more to it? The Holy Spirit wants to reveal the deeper reasons why sexual purity matters and how it can impact your life.
As a teenager, you’ll face numerous temptations, including sexual sin. But you have a choice: to set the pace for others by living a life of sexual purity or to become a victim of early sexual exposure. Remember, sex is a beautiful gift from God, meant to be enjoyed within the confines of marriage.
The Bible warns us not to awaken love until we’re ready (Song of Solomon 8:4). Sex is not just an act; it’s a covenant sealed by vows. Your body belongs to Christ, bought with a price (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Live to glorify Jesus with your body, honouring God by obeying His word.
Don’t rush into relationships! Pursue purpose first. This is the time to chase God, model holiness, and show the world that sexual purity is possible with the Holy Spirit’s help.
Practical Tips for Maintaining Sexual Purity:
1. Set boundaries: Establish clear limits in your relationships.
2. Surround yourself with positive influences: Spend time with people
who shares your values.
3. Focus on God: Prioritize your relationship with Him.
4. Practice self-control: Resist temptations and lustful thoughts.
5. Seek accountability: Share your struggles with a trusted friend or
mentor.
6. Stay busy: Engage in activities that promote personal growth.
7. Dress modestly: Avoid revealing clothing that may attract
unwanted attention.
Stand for sexual purity everywhere you go! Choose to raise the banner of Jesus and inspire others to do the same. Remember, sexual purity is not just a choice; it’s a key to unlocking your divine destiny.
Don’t exchange your destiny for temporary pleasures. Refuse the “Esau life” of instant gratification and practice self-discipline. Believe God’s word and trust His promises. He has a track record of keeping His word, unlike humans who may fail us.
